A customer asked me to put pictures here to show how I take the
vacuum advance units apart and re-assemble so here it is:
Parts to be added...
The split ring and clamp to hold
during disassembly.
Four punches with ends shaped to points are used to roll the assembly lip open(with taps from hammer) ( from very pointed tips down to 90 degree end angle.)
Replaced vacum diaphram
ready for re-assembly.
The flange is hammered flat.
The assemble flange is re set with three punches with
varing angles: steep, medium, and flat.
All done!
